So, thanks to a client, I found [Suno](https://suno.com/) ...a wonderful tool that allows me to take my lyrics and turn them into reality. I've been playing with it for a couple months now and it can be extremely easy, but also maddeningly irritating when it doesn't do what you want. With a paid account you have full control over and rights to what is generated (assuming you wrote the words). If you have it generate the lyrics, it gets a little more murky.
With that said, I've managed to create a few full albums, finalize and publicize them. The first of which is called [[music/Bridges We Burn]] and while it's not perfect, I think it turned out pretty well and have continued working on additional tracks and concept albums that I wrote years ago; mostly as an awkward teenager learning the ropes of relationships.
Some of the newer albums include:
* **The Distant Moon** - COMING SOON
This is a concept album, a collection of relatively old writings from around 2001 that attempt to turn all the optimism and heartbreak associated with youthful love and associate it with space and a lonely astronaut.
* **All That Ails Us - released 11/04/2024** - [[music/All That Ails Us|All That Ails Us]]
This is a combination of mostly entirely new lyrics and a sprinkle of old, meaningful pieces; all focused on the things that ail us...the media, the medicine, the politics. It's not the happiest of albums, but it was cathartic to write.
* **Half a Mile Up - released 08/10/2024** - [[music/Half a Mile Up|Half a Mile Up]]
This is my country album. A tribute to my roots. Where I'm from, where I grew up. An odd assortment of thoughts and feelings about the places, faces, and people I experienced throughout that ride.
And between legitimate songs, I do occasionally publish (inside Suno) songs that are more akin to Weird Al or songs that just don't work on any album. Just to blow off steam and/or to make myself laugh. That playlist is publicly available in Suno and you can find it here: [Suno Playlist](https://suno.com/@ewilliamnutter)
**Stay tuned for more.**
